Let’s not be shy about it, and let’s not pretend that marriage is a bed of roses. I personally think about it everyday and the more you think about it the better. In showbiz it’s even harder to last a relationship with many celebrities lasting over only 72 hours before calling it quits.

However in the real world it’s different. In the real world we usually get STUCK in the wrong type of relationships or fail to commit at all. But it’s not all over with true love yet because truly understanding the reason for marrying that one person may be the answer. I prefer that we all truly understand ourselves and love ourselves first so that you are able to give what you have. Because imagine if the person you think you love and loves you back doesn’t give you the love that you need?

Here we are, with a list of some of our favorite celebrities with marriage relationships you will wish you had. And why? It may seem like a fairy tale but really it’s not as you will see.

Julia Roberts and Daniel Moder. This love story started in 2000 when the actress and cinematographer first met. At the time, the Notting Hill star was dating Benjamin Bratt, and Moder was married to Vera Steimberg. So, they didn’t start pursuing a romantic relationship until Moder finalized his divorce in 2002. That same year, the duo hosted their nuptials. They now share three amazing children together.

Jada Pinkett Smith and Will Smith. This famous couple has been around for a long time and we have witnessed Will Smith defend Jada from Chris Rock at the Oscars. However they’ve come out on the other end stronger and wiser. The two met while filming the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air in 1990, and they swapped vows on New Year’s Eve in 1997. They are proud parents of Jaden and Willow.

Victoria Beckham and David Beckham are another popular couple and you can see them attend so many events together. I love that. A famous football star and pop singer. These two apparently met at a soccer game in 1997. Their connection was so solid, in fact, that the former Spice Girl and the former soccer player got married just two years later. After 25 years of marriage and four kids, the duo represents the ultimate celebrity pair. They even reaffirmed their love in 2017 with a vow renewal.

Pauletta Pearson and Denzel Washington are another popular celebrity couple with a lot of history. The actors met in 1977 while shooting Wilma together, and they started dating one year later. According to Access Hollywood, the Malcolm X actor proposed three different times before Pearson finally accepted. Imagine that? Denzel Washington is so cute and married. These two said “I do” in 1983 and renewed their vows in 1995. They currently share four children together.

Alicia Keys and Swiss Beatz is something to inspire you more. In the music industry,it’s harder to find great relationships to relate with but Alicia Keys has really done her best as well.
The singer and producer knew each other since they were teenagers, but didn’t enter a relationship with each other until the late nineties with Swiss proposing in 2009. The couple married in 2010 and they have two sons Egypt and Genesis together.

Jay-Z and Beyonce is one my favourites too. First you have to understand that dating is a great way of knowing who you want to be with. This couple should inspire you to have a better relationship outside marriage. The power couple – who are estimated to be worth $1.4 billion – started dating in 2002 and married in a secret ceremony in 2008 choosing not to confirm their relationship or marriage for years. The couple have three children together, Blue Ivy and twins Sir and Rumi.

Kate Middleton And Prince William. This is the royal couple but there is a lot to learn. You can see that Prince William made every effort possible to marry the love of his life and inspite of the challenges that come with being a royal, these too have really shown the world that they have an incredible relationship.
Middleton and Prince William started a romance nine years before the Duke popped the question in 2010, during a trip to Kenya with friends.
He presented her with his late mother Princess Diana’s sapphire and diamond engagement ring.

Prince William, said; ‘I had been carrying the ring around in my rucksack for about three weeks before the proposal.’

‘Everywhere I went, I was keeping ahold of it, cause I knew if this thing disappeared, I’d be in a lot of trouble.’
The pair married in 2011 at Westminster Abbey, and are now parents-of-three to Prince George, who they welcomed in 2013, Princess Charlotte, who was born in 2015 and Prince Louis, born in 2018.

Tina Turner and Erwin Bach.
Remember Tina Turner is the famous singer of the song…what’s love got to do with it? Surprise surprise she married Bach in 2013, after being with him for 27 whole years.
Speaking to Hello! fter their nuptials, she gushed: ‘It’s that happiness that people talk about, when you wish for nothing, when you can finally take a deep breath and say, “Everything is good.”‘

Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones are a famous power couple.
Douglas and Zeta-Jones have been together since 1998 despite a brief split in 2013.

Sharing her best piece of advice with Good Housekeeping in November 2015, she said: ‘It’s a long road and I think people today are so quick to throw in the towel on marriage.

‘You have to give it your best shot and not give up when the first problem arises, because that won’t be the last problem.

‘There will be many more down the road.’

We love this sort of advise from one of the most beautiful actresses because just because you are incredibly successful, doesn’t mean you can have a good marriage.

Rita Wilson and Tom Hanks hit a new record for Hollywood relationships with an impressive 34 years of marriage. After meeting in 1981 on the set of the ABC sitcom Bosom Buddies, Hanks was still married to his high school sweetheart. But, he couldn’t deny his attraction to Wilson. In 1987, the Sleepless in Seattle star and his former wife separated, so he and the Runaway Bride actress went public with their relationship. They tied the knot one year later, and they are now parents of two children.

With so many challenges at the beginning but with a happy ending! We love this.
